Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 June 2026
1. Parties and acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of rembg.click, api.rembg.click, and related services (“Service”) operated by the provider of rembg.click (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account, using the Service, or clicking acceptance at registration, you enter a contract with us and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you act for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.
2. Service description
We provide AI-assisted image processing online and via API, including background removal, background replacement, upscaling, bulk tools, and related features. Availability, quality, limits, and pricing depend on your selected plan as shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
The Service is a digital service delivered electronically. Processing usually begins immediately after upload or API request.
3. Account and API keys
You must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only lawfully and only for images you have the right to process. Prohibited uses include illegal content, malware, attacks on our systems, circumvention of technical limits, and unauthorised resale of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access to protect users, comply with law, or prevent abuse.
5. Prices, billing, and subscriptions
Prices, credits, and plan features are displayed on our pricing page and checkout. Recurring subscriptions are billed through WayForPay at the interval you select (monthly or yearly).
You authorise us and our payment provider to charge applicable fees. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until payment is resolved.
6. Right of withdrawal (EEA/UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract under consumer law.
For digital content and digital services not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance starts (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m); UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
By purchasing credits or a subscription and using the Service immediately, you request immediate performance and acknowledge loss of the withdrawal right for the portion already consumed. Unused prepaid credits may be refundable where mandatory consumer law requires.
7. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of images you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely to provide the Service.
Our website, software, branding, and documentation remain our property or our licensors’. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.
8. Image handling
Standard processing does not persist images on disk after completion. Improvement Program submissions are stored up to 1 hour as described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
9. Warranties and digital content conformity
For EEA/UK consumers, statutory rights under applicable digital content and services rules (including Directive (EU) 2019/770 where applicable) are not affected.
Otherwise the Service is provided “as is”. AI output may contain errors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion via [email protected].
We may terminate or suspend for breach of these Terms. Clauses that by nature should survive will survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of rembg.click is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If you are an EEA/UK consumer, you also benefit from mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
EU consumers may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
